Connect to Monitor

Step 2
  1. Power on your launch monitor
  2. Go to iPad Settings → Wi-Fi
  3. Connect to the monitor's network:
    • TrackMan: TrackMan_####
    • GCQuad: GCQuad_####
  4. Enter the password when prompted
  5. Open myFittingExp and verify connection

  3. Wait for download to complete
  4. Launch from the Start menu

  1. Download the Connector Service installer
  2. Run the installer (.exe file)
  3. Click Yes on UAC prompt (required)
  4. Wait for installation to complete
  5. Verify icon appears in system tray

How to log in, connect a launch monitor, and start fitting

Log In

Enter your email and password. Tap "Forgot Password?" if needed.

Under User Settings, choose your launch monitor type (TrackMan, Foresight, etc.).

GCQuad / QuadMAX Device Registration

Why this matters: GCQuad and QuadMAX devices must "phone home" to Foresight servers every 45 days to maintain connectivity with third-party applications like myFittingExp. If registration expires, the device will not connect until re-registered.

How to re-register:

  1. Download the Foresight Sports iOS app
  2. Ensure your iOS device has internet access
  3. Power on your GCQuad / QuadMAX
  4. Open the Foresight app and log in
  5. Connect to your launch monitor via Bluetooth
  6. The device will automatically re-register

Best Practice: Re-register at least once per month, and always the night before any fitting event.

Connection Tips

  • iPad: Connect to the monitor's Wi-Fi, not venue Wi-Fi
  • PC: USB is most reliable; Ethernet for TrackMan
  • Ensure monitor shows solid indicator lights (not blinking)
  • Power cycle monitor if connection issues persist
  • Confirm Connector Service is running (Windows)
  • Confirm your device has an active internet connection

Version numbers listed below are based on the latest information from Foresight Sports and TrackMan support pages. Always confirm against the official vendor pages linked in each section before deploying to launch monitors used at events.

GCQuad / QuadMAX (Foresight)

Update via PC (Windows)

  1. Download the firmware updater from Foresight
  2. Power on your GCQuad / QuadMAX
  3. Connect to PC via USB-C cable
  4. Run the firmware installer (.exe)
  5. Click Update when prompted
  6. Wait for completion — device may restart

Update via Foresight App (iPad)

  1. Download the Foresight App from the App Store
  2. Power on your GCQuad / QuadMAX
  3. Open the app and connect via Bluetooth
  4. If an update is available, you'll be prompted automatically
  5. Follow on-screen instructions to complete

TrackMan 4

Update via PC (Windows)

TrackMan 4 firmware updates require a Windows PC with TrackMan Performance Studio (TPS). The update is done through the TrackMan web interface.

  1. Download the firmware from TrackMan Support
  2. Connect TrackMan 4 to your PC
  3. Access the web interface through TPS
  4. Upload the firmware file and restart

Common issues and solutions

No Internet Connection

myFittingExp requires an active internet connection to sign in and operate. Confirm your iPad has Wi-Fi or cellular access before opening the app.

GCQuad / QuadMAX Not Connecting — Registration Expired

Foresight devices require re-registration every 45 days to maintain third-party connectivity. If your device hasn't "phoned home" recently, it won't connect to myFittingExp.

⚠️ How to Fix: Use the Foresight iOS app (not myFittingExp) on an internet-connected device. Log in and connect to your GCQuad via Bluetooth — this will automatically re-register the device.

Monitor Not Connecting

Check that you're connected to the monitor's Wi-Fi network, not venue Wi-Fi or your regular network.

Check if iOS was recently updated. New iOS versions may need an app update. Force close and relaunch first.

No Internet Connection

myFittingExp requires an active internet connection to sign in and operate. Confirm your PC has internet access (separate from any direct launch monitor connection).

Open a web browser → Confirm you can load a public website

GCQuad / QuadMAX Not Connecting — Registration Expired

Foresight devices require re-registration every 45 days to maintain third-party connectivity. If your device hasn't "phoned home" recently, it won't connect to myFittingExp.

⚠️ How to Fix: Use the Foresight iOS app on an iPhone or iPad with internet access. Log in and connect to your GCQuad via Bluetooth — this will automatically re-register the device. (Note: This must be done on iOS, not Windows.)

Monitor Not Connecting

Check that Connector Service is installed and running (system tray icon). Verify USB cable or network connection.

Open Services (services.msc) → Find "TaylorMade Connector Service" → Start

GCQuad Wi-Fi Asks for PIN (Not Password)

When connecting to GCQuad_#### Wi-Fi on Windows, the system may prompt for a PIN instead of a password.

⚠️ Important: Don't enter a PIN! Click "Connect using a security key instead" (link below the PIN field), then enter the password: FSSPORTS

Connector Issues

If Connector won't install or start, you may have denied the UAC prompt or lack admin rights.

Uninstall from Control Panel → Reinstall → Click YES on UAC prompt

App Won't Launch

Windows SmartScreen may be blocking the app. Check Event Viewer for crash details.

Click "More info" → "Run anyway" if blocked by SmartScreen

Can't Login / Forgot Password

Complete Reinstall

If issues persist, do a clean reinstall of both myFittingExp and Connector Service.

Settings → Apps → Uninstall myFittingExp → Control Panel → Uninstall Connector → Reboot → Reinstall both
